A vibrant community spirit is one of the qualities that makes Nundah so special. Residents are all actively involved in a variety of local initiatives and the area plays host to a number of annual events. Whether it’s the Village Street Festival, Business Breakfast or Christmas festival locals never miss an opportunity to get out and show their support for the community. The events are also a great way of showcasing local businesses as well as the talent of many of the school students in the area.

Nundah Village Street FestivalSunday 12th September 2010 from 9:00am-3:00pm.
The festival plays host to a range of great entertainment including live bands and street performers. In addition to this the festival also provides a great opportunity for children from local schools to showcase their talents through music, dance and art performances. Nundah Village Art Show
Traditionally held around the time of the Nundah Village Street Festival, this art show displays the works of some of Queenslands' most talented artists and just maybe, the next Brett Whiteley. Prizes are awarded for various categories and most of the artwork on display are available for purchase. Activities include Santa’s Mailbox for the kids, Christmas Carols by the Nundah Community Choir, Cr Fiona King and a visit by Santa at 6:30pm. We also conduct a Xmas Window Competition judged by Councillor Kim Flesser, Cr Fiona King and Quest Newspapers for best shop window. A certificate is presented for 1st, 2ndand 3rd and Quest will be providing exposure for Please get into the spirit and help to whole community celebrate Xmas and the New Year in the very best of possible way.

A fantastic day that involves the whole community, the Nundah Village Street Festival is always one of the highlights of the year. With involvement from local residents, schools, businesses and community groups the event provides a great environment for all residents and visitors to enjoy. 
The Nundah Village Art Show is one of the most popular events on the social calander and has quickly gained a very large following.
